A Master Thesis for 2019/2020
Col-Lab: Design-Centric Innovation Community, Symbiosis (DESCICS) is sustainable development with the aim of enhancing the innovation ecosystem, fostering design thinking by collaboration through architectural approaches applied in design-driven community innovation models. Located in the Sentul which is rich with cultural context, it is a new mixed-use community, transit-orientated development which consists of innovation spaces, collaborative spaces, co-working offices, various facilities, marketplaces, interchange of LRT & KTM, community hubs as well as public parks for locals and expatriate.
The DESCICs shape an urban plaza, interconnected by a perimeter colonnade itinerary that generates a spatial cushion to relate the volumes to the outside world. The people who come for transit exchange and recreation will "accidentally" enjoy the innovation experiences while they are passing through the active street, experiencing areas will have their awareness of the innovation culture.

What is the ecology of start up / entrepreneurship ? from idea creation to market place.
How does this centre (physical presence) support / stimulate faster & effective growth of this ecology. This shld serve beyond virtual access/ interactions (online).
Any theories (architectural) that be explored as basis to architectural solutions ?

About S.J
An architectural graduate who had BSc(Hons) in Housing, Building & Planning (Architecture) Part 1 as well as MArch Master of Architecture Part 2, born in Malaysia which knows multiple languages including English, Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and so forth which had successfully balanced a rigorous academic, extra-curricular, volunteer, and work schedule throughout the educational years.
He involved in various projects during the practical training in architect firms and also have real-life experience of construction including site inspection, liaise with consultant and contractor, follow up construction progress, handover, and so forth during training in Construction Department Genting Malaysia Berhad (GENM). He shows the necessary skills and abilities in a broad range of design and management applications such as AutoCAD, 3D rendering, Sketch-Up, and Photoshop as well as the in-charge skills for multiple project in the previous experiences. Also, He invest a lot in Malaysia stocks, commodities, and trade CFD for a number of years. He is a graduate architect as well as a part-timer as a financial trader and investor.

ARCHITECTUAL DESIGN
Conceptual Design

Design Development
A clear and coordinated description of all aspects of the design including Architectural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire protection systems is worked out providing a basis for the preparation of construction documents.
3D Modelling, Rendering & Animation
Three-dimensional models and renderings are helpful in visualizing what the home will look like and can also be helpful in understanding view potential which include: massing and presentation models, colored renderings, photo-realistic computer renderings and animation.
Construction Documents
The more detailed documentation thoroughly and accurately details all components of the building for the purposes of obtaining building approval, and to enable builders to provide a fixed price contract for the building works.
